Far-Western State people invited to visit Lumbini

Dhangadhi– State-5 government has invited people of Far-Western State to visit Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. Organising a press conference by Visit Lumbini Year-2076 Publicity Sub-Committee in course of the preparation of Visit Lumbini Year-2076 here today, State-5 government invited them for the same.

At the press conference organised in presence of Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment of Far-Western state, Maya Bhatta, Secretariat Member of the Publicity Sub-Committee, Pradeep Acharya, requested Minister Bhatta on the behalf of the State-5 government to convey the message of invitation to the folks of in the State.

Acharya said that a campaign was launched for the collaboration between States to create environment for visiting Lumbini and tourism sites of Far-Western state.

The State-5 government has decided to celebrate 2076 BS as Visit Lumbini Year with an objective of bringing in 2.5 million tourists in different places of Rupandehi-- Lumbini, Tilaurakot, Devdaha, Ramgram of Nawalparasi and Araurakot in 2076.

Tourism campaigners of Far-Western State-- Gopal Hamal, Dineshraj Bhandari, Maya Prakash Bhatta and Rana Chandra Shrestha, among others stressed that there would be tourism promotion if Lumbini area and tourism sites of Far-Western State were promoted together. -----
