Muglin– Two persons died in separate road mishaps occurred in Chitwan last night. Resham Bahadur Gurung, 37, of Ichhakamana rural municipality died when a truck (Ba 4 Kha 8176) en route to central bus park from Aanptari hit his motorbike (Ba 46 Pa 7830) at Bharatpur metropolis-11, Ganeshsthan at 7.00 pm on Wednesday.
Motorcyclist Gurung who was critically injured in the accident breathed his last on the way to Bharatpur Hospital, confirmed the District Police Office, Chitwan.
Cycle rider Shyam Kumar Shrestha of Bharatpur-11, Ganeshsthan was also injured in the accident. Shrestha is undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital.
The motorbike had happened to collide with the cycle after it was hit by the truck. The district police took control the truck and its driver. Meanwhile, a person died when a microbus stroke his motorbike at Ichhakamana-4, Lewatar in Chitwan along the Prithvi Highway. Shambhu Khadka, 37, of Gorkha died when a Kathmandu-bound micro bus (Ba 2 Kha 2248) and motorbike (Ga 7 Pa 9398) coming from opposite direction collided at 5.00 pm on Wednesday.
He also breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital, confirmed the District Police Office Chitwan. According to the police, the motorbike rider had happened to hit another microbus (Ba 2 Kha 1922) en route to Kathmandu from Pokhara after his motorbike collided with the microbus. Police took control both the micro buses and their drivers. ---
