State-3 level security seminar kicks off in Hetauda

Hetauda– A two-day seminar on security in State-3 has kicked off in Hetauda today. The seminar is organised by the Ministry of Home Affairs of the federal government.

The chief district officers of 13 districts in State-3, the district police chiefs, the chiefs of the National Investigation Department, the high-ranking officers of Nepal Police, THE Armed Police Force and Nepal Army are participating in the seminar, the Makawanpur District Administration Office stated.

Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa is scheduled to address the seminar on Wednesday morning, Makwanpur district's chief district officer, Asman Tamang, said.

Home Secretary Prem Kumar Rai, Inspector General of Nepal Police, Sarbendra Khanal, Inspector General of the Armed Police Force, Shailendra Khanal, and Chief Director of National Investigation Department, Ganesh Adhikari and Nepal Army high officials will also participate.

The seminar, besides assessing the peace, and law and order situation in the districts of State-3, will discuss efforts towards crime control and other services provided by the home administration like the distribution of citizenship certificates. It will also deliberate on enhancing coordination and collaboration with the State chief ministers. ---
