Three people go missing in avalanche

Jajarkot– Three people have gone missing in an avalanche in Upper Dolpa which is out of communication link.

The three persons went missing while going on a pilgrimage to the Kailash Parbat at Selaridhukta Shey-Gumba monastery of Shey-Phoksundo rural municipality-3 in Upper Dolpa. The incident took place on March 31.

Those who have gone missing include Phurba Thinlya Gurung, Pema Kunsang Gurung and Phunchhok Gurung of Shey Phoksundo rural municipality-3, lawmaker Satya Pahadi informed via phone. Chief of Dolpa Police, Deputy Superintendent of Police Avadesh Bista confirmed the incident and said it has been a problem going to the incident site due to heavy snow.
