Three killed in separate accidents in Sarlahi

Sarlahi– Three persons have lost their lives in separate accidents in Sarlahi district on Tuesday night. 
Shambhu Mahato,26, of Arnaha at Balara Municipality-5 was found lying dead below a tractor in the Mahalaxmi Sugar Industry of Bagadaha in Godaita Municipality-6. 


According to the District Police Office, Sarlahi, Mahato, who was sleeping below the tractor (Na 1 Ta 6666), was found dead. His head was completely trampled. 


Superintendent of Police, Gopal Chandra Bhattarai shared that by the look of the things, Mahato’s head seem to be crushed by other vehicles as he was sleeping below the tractor with his head popped out of the tractor’s trailer. Mahato was the tractor driver, according to police. Further investigation into the case was underway. 


Meanwhile, an elderly died when the motorcycle (Na 3 Pa 554) he was travelling on the two-wheeler from Haripur to Malangwa met with an accident at Sarlahi Camp in Malangwa-4 in the district on Tuesday evening. 


Mosatakima Khatun, 65, of Haripur Municipality- 2 was critically injured in the accident. He died during the treatment at the Shree Ram Hospital, police said. 


Similarly, a minor died when she fell off the buffalo on Tuesday evening. Kajal Shah, daughter of Suknaha of Ishworpur Municiplaity-15 had gone to gaze buffalo. Police said that the incident occurred when the five-year-old girl fell of the buffalo and the domestic animal attacked her. 


Injured in the incident, Shah was rushed to hospital where she breathed her last.
