Manju receives financial support from Nepali diaspora in Hong Kong
Urlabari (Morang) - The Urlabari Family, Hong Kong has extended financial assistance to a 27 – year – old woman of Uralbari – 6 suffering from kidney failure.
Manju Dhimal was provided Rs 281,000 for treatment of both of her failed kidneys. The money was raised among the members of the Nepali diaspora in Hong Kong and handed over on Thursday to the Dhimal family.
Urlabari Family Hong Kong Chairman, Bikash Limbu, handed over the money to Manju's mother, Helen Dhimal.
Manju Dhimal Save Campaign member and Media Club Urlabari's Chairman, Dhan Shyam Bhandari, said a total of Rs 900,000 has been raised so far from various donors for Manju's treatment.
Manju has two children and comes from poor economic background. She is currently receiving treatment at the Human Organ Transplant Centre, Bhaktapur.
