Lighting burns house in Bardibas

Bardibas– A house was completely gutted in a fire that originated following a lightning at Chanauta of Bardibas municipality-11. The house of Ajaya Dimdong was burnt to ashes in the incident that took place on Saturday afternoon. 

Fortunately, as all members of the family had been out of the house to collect cattle fodder no human casualty took place. All the food stock, clothing and utensils inside the house were gutted in the fire, according to Area Police Office, Bardibas. 
The settlement where the incident took place lies some 30 kilometers away from Bardibas chowk. Police received information about the incident very late and was thus late in reaching the incident site that does not have a proper motorable road. 

Following the incident, the Dimdong family has been left with nothing.
