Karnali CM pledged to establish multiuse journalists' training center

Surkhet–Karnali province chief minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi has pledged to establish a multiuse training center for journalists at the province level. 


In his remarks at the concluding session of the province-level journalism training organised by the National News Agency (RSS) Karnali province office with the support of province Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law and in coordination of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Karnali province committee; the chief minister also assured of coordination and collaboration with the RSS for the development and promotion of journalism in the province. "The RSS will have its own building here." 


As he said, promotion of state-owned media including the RSS as per the need of time will be the special priority of the province government. He took a time to call on journalists to utilize their skill, knowledge and profession as the means of transforming the society into a civilized, just and prosperous one. 


Comparing the province with a heaven for its natural beauty, he called on journalists for their support to bring prosperity here. 


A total of 44 journalists associated with the RSS, daily newspapers, online, radio and television from Humla, Jumla, Dolpa, Kalikot, Mugu, Dailekh, Jajarkot, Rukum West and Surkhet attended the training. ---
