Three dead in road accidents

Kathmandu – Three persons were killed in separate road accidents in Dailekh and Kathmandu. A person died when a vehicle knocked down a 19-year-old teenager at 4:00 this morning. The number of the vehicle is not confirmed so far. 


Jiban Singh from Kanchanpur district and currently living in Kiritpur in Kathmandu died on the way to Bir Hospital after the accident occurred in front of Kanak Petrol Pump near Teku Bridge, the police said. 


Meanwhile, two persons were killed while six others were critically injured after a jeep (Be 1 Cha 2207) met with an accident at Thatikadh Rural Municipality, Dailekh. 


The jeep heading to Bahakot of Thatikadh Rural Municipality from Surkhet district veered off the road killing Rajendra Bahadur Shahi, 47, and Nirmal Bam, 30, of the same rural municipality. Details of the injured persons are awaited.
