Ranjha ,Banke –Senior journalist based in Nepalgunj, Rahis Siddhiki, passed away last night. Siddhiki breathed his last at 11:00 last night while receiving treatment at Kohalpur Medical Hospital, Banke. The noted journalist was suffering from liver and kidney related infections for the past six months. Similarly, his heart surgery was performed some two years ago.
Siddhiki is the publisher of the Nepalgunj-based Samaya Adhikar Daily and the chairperson of board of directors of Darululum Faijunnabi Jama Masjid Idgaha. A family source said that the last rites of Siddhiki would be performed at Kabristan, Nepalgunj this afternoon.
