Interim order to stop construction of house on public land

Nepalgunj –The Nepalgunj High Court has issued an interim order to immediately stop the construction of a house on public land in Duduwa rural municipality-2 in Banke district. 

Locals Mohammad Hussein Kha, Mohammad Ajmal Kha and Tejram Kurmi, filed a writ at the High Court after Yunus Kha and Jahiruddhin Kha took control of 15 bighas of public land. 

A single bench of Judge of High Court, Nepalgunj, Khushi Prasad Tharu, issued the interim order not to carry out any illegal construction and encroach upon public land. 

Chairperson of Duduwa rural municipality Narendra Kumar Chaudhary expressed commitment that the interim order would be implemented with the help of police administration.---
