Budget implementation faces challenges galore

Dhangadhi –Owing to late transfer of some of the agencies obliged to implement budget policy and programme to province government, the execution of province government’s current fiscal year budget is likely to face challenges galore. 

The delayed handover of newly set-up offices and deployment of employees there have increased challenges to the timely implementation of the province budget, shared Legal Section Secretary at the Office of Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Yagya Bhattarai. 

Only 50 percent of total 2,613 approved positions in the Sudurpaschm Province are present at their offices. 
The Federal government had delayed in transferring the new offices set up under the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment, Land Management, Agriculture, Cooperative, Physical Infrastructure and development, among others ---
