Home Minister Sudhan Gurung Inspects Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office

Kathmandu. Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has inspected the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office located at Ramshahpath. On Wednesday, Gurung reached the Valley Traffic Police Office to get information about traffic management and other activities.

Along with Gurung, AIG of CIB Uma Prasad Chaturvedi also reached Ramshahpath. Home Minister Gurung has initiated efforts to bring the land of the Food Management and Trading Company located at Ramshahpath under the name of the traffic police.

The 15 ropanis of vacant land of Food is adjacent to the Traffic Police Office. An official of the Valley Traffic Police Office told Ratopati that he has started efforts to acquire the land.

Traffic police officials say that there is a shortage of land to implement the long-term policy of the Center for Excellence. At Ramshahpath, there is no suitable infrastructure for the traffic control training, traffic management training, traffic sketch training, and crowd control training provided by the traffic police.

Minister Gurung has initiated efforts to build land and physical structures for conducting programs such as refresher training.
