Communist leaders including Dahal pay tribute to Maskey

Kathmandu –Communist Party of Nepal (CPN)'s chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ' Prachanda' today visited the party central office at Dhumbarahi to pay tribute to party senior leader Sitaram Maskey who passed away on October 27. 

Party senior leader Jhala Nath Khanal, general secretary Bishnu Poudel, secretariat member Bamdev Gautam, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, and leader Agni Prasad Sapkota were at the party headquarters to bid adieu to the late leader. 

Maskey, 71, who had been undergoing treatment at the Maitighar-based Annapurna Neuro Hospital for a month for brain hemorrhage, died Saturday. According to party central member Krishna Gopal Shrestha, last rites of Maskey will be conducted at the Pashupati Aryaghat today itself. He is survived by his spouse and four sons. ---
