Dang –The CC cameras which were installed at Tulsipur Bazaar for maintaining law and order situation has been lying dysfunctional.
No concerned authority has paid attention for timely maintenance and operation of CC (Closed Circuit) camera which have not been operation since long.
Neither police office nor the Tulsipur sub-metropolis remained attentive to repair and resume the operation of CC camera, placed to help maintain law and order in crowded areas.
However, the camera control room is stationed at the Area Police Office, Tulsipur.
The CCTVs were installed at Birendrachowk, BP Chowk and Bus Park area in 2071 BS on the initiative of Tulsipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and with financial support of Rs 400,000 from Tulsipur municipality.
Meanwhile, Chief of Area Police Office, Tulsipur DSP Prakash Sapkota said that a request was already made to the Tulsipur sub-metropolis for the maintenance of dysfunctional cameras and installation of additional cameras in other places. ---
