Former PM Bhattarai Advises Government to Focus on Good Governance and Prosperity

Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has suggested the government focus its singular vision on good governance and prosperity.

Hinting at the task force's suggestion to amend Article 245 of the constitution, he said – trying to kill many birds at once means no bird will be killed. Taking a big bite carries the risk of getting stuck in the throat.

He further writes – The new government, which came to power with great public expectation in the background of the Gen Z rebellion, would do well to focus its singular vision on good governance and prosperity, which is the country's main problem, instead of trying to do many things at once at this time.

His suggestion to the government is to do whatever is necessary to create 8 to 10 lakh productive jobs annually within the country.
