Two Arrested in Panchthar and Dang for Rape

Kathmandu. Police have arrested two people on charges of rape in Panchthar and Dang.

In Panchthar, 21-year-old Rajendra Ghising, a resident of Hilihang Rural Municipality-6, was arrested by the police on Wednesday morning on the charge of raping a 42-year-old woman. Based on a complaint that Rajendra had raped the woman, a police team deployed from the District Police Office, Panchthar, took him into custody.

Similarly, in Dang, 45-year-old Dhaniram Bhandari, a resident of Ganespur, Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-7, was arrested by the police on Wednesday afternoon on the charge of raping an 18-year-old girl. Based on a complaint that Dhaniram had raped the girl, the police deployed from the Area Police Office, Tulsipur, arrested him.

Police have stated that necessary investigation is being carried out on both the arrested individuals.
