Argentina Defeats England 2-1 to Reach FIFA World Cup Final

Kathmandu. In the second semi-final match of the FIFA World Cup, Argentina defeated England 2-1 to secure a place in the final. In the exciting and tense mega-clash held on Thursday night as per Nepali time, Argentina made a comeback victory after being behind by one goal. With this victory, Argentina has entered the World Cup final for the second consecutive time, where it will face Spain for the title next Sunday.

 The first half of the game was very aggressive and competitive. As both teams showed strong defense and aggressive play from the beginning, a total of 19 fouls occurred in the first half, with Argentina committing 12 and England committing 7. One player from each team also received a yellow card in the first half. The first half of the game ended in a goalless draw.

 The game took an exciting turn at the beginning of the second half. In the 55th minute, England's Anthony Gordon scored an excellent goal, giving his team an initial lead of 1-0. After falling behind by one goal, Argentina struggled hard to come back into the game. With Martinez's excellent goal, Argentina confirmed a 2-1 victory and booked their place in the final. With this defeat, England's dream of reaching the World Cup final for the first time in 60 years has ended, while Argentina, led by Lionel Messi, has come close to the historic campaign of winning the title for the second consecutive time.
