Radio journalist atop Manaslu

Solukhumbu –A team including Solu FM Radio journalist Kitab Singh Tamang has successfully scaled the Mount Manaslu. 


The 14-member team included 10 locals and four foreigners. All members of the team reached atop Mt Manaslu at 8:30 am on Saturday, according to Mr Tamang. The team was led by Director of Nirika Adventure Private Limited Shatiman Newar. 


The 8,156 meters high Mt Manaslu is the world’s eighth and Nepal’s seventh tallest mountain. Radio journalist Tamang also works as a trekking guide. He has already scaled Mt Sagarmatha or Everest, the tallest mountain in the world five times.
