IRGC Claims Retaliatory Attack on Jordan Air Base

Aman. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed to have launched a retaliatory attack on Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan.

According to an IRGC statement released by Iranian state media IRIB on Sunday morning, several ballistic missiles were fired at the air base. The IRGC claimed that the command and control center and drone storage hangars were destroyed in the attack.

Prince Hassan Air Base is a military air base operated by the Jordanian Air Force. The IRGC stated that this attack was an immediate retaliation for the airstrikes carried out by the US military on military bases and telecommunication towers in Iran's southern coastal region. The statement also warned that if the US launches further attacks, a stronger response will be given.

Although contact was made with the US military's Central Command (CENTCOM) for a reaction to this incident, no official response has been received as of the preparation of this news.
