Two Accused Arrested in Lalitpur Murder Case

Lalitpur. Police have arrested two accused who fled after beating and murdering a person in Gwarko, Lalitpur. 

Ashok Karki, also known as Ashok Subedi, from Mahalaxmi Municipality Ward No. 4, Lalitpur, was severely beaten on the charge of coming to steal at a garage in Gwarko, Lalitpur Metropolitan City Ward No. 17. 

Subedi, who became unconscious due to the beating in the incident that occurred at 8 PM on the night of Asar 24, was immediately taken to KIST Hospital for treatment. After his death during treatment, the police initiated an investigation into a homicide case.

A joint police team deployed from the District Police Complex Lalitpur, its subordinate Police Circle Satdobato, and Police Post Imadol arrested the accused who had fled after the incident from various locations. 

The arrested individuals are Ganesh Magar, 26, from Ward No. 6 of Likhu Tamakoshi Rural Municipality, Ramechhap, currently residing in Gwarko, and Manoj Dahal, 26, residing in Chapagaun, Godavari Municipality Ward No. 10, Lalitpur. 

Both arrested individuals have been brought to the Satdobato Police Circle, and a 5-day remand has been extended for the homicide case, with further investigation underway.
