CPN UML Deputy General Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai Criticizes State for Citizen Suicides

Kathmandu. CPN UML Deputy General Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai has stated that citizens are being forced to self-immolate and commit suicide due to the cruel and inhumane behavior of the state. Leader Bhattarai raised questions about the Ganesh Nepali death case and the government's working style. “Let it be remembered that Yogmaya Neupane's courageous decision to take Jal Samadhi in the Arun River became the seed for the end of the autocratic Rana rule in Nepal,” Bhattarai wrote on social media Facebook on Friday. “State and government, change your working style, change your behavior. The constitution is above you. There is law. There is democracy and human rights. There is civilization and culture built by Nepali society. Respect all of these. You have no other option. The Ganesh Nepalis are not ready to be disrespected.”
