Six arrested with three scooters in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. District Police Complex Kathmandu has arrested 6 people involved in stealing scooters from various places along with 3 scooters. 

A complaint was filed with the police stating that a scooter with number Ba 68 Pa 7073 was stolen from the parking lot of Divya Party Palace in Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 7 on the evening of Asar 13, around 6:30 PM. Based on the received complaint, police teams from Gaushala and Maharajgunj police stations were dispatched for search.

During the extensive search for the stolen scooters, the police team succeeded in apprehending 6 people involved in the theft along with 3 scooters. The police recovered a total of 3 scooters from them: one Honda company's ash-colored Aviator scooter with number Ba 68 Pa 7073, one Honda company's red and black Dio scooter with number Ba 68 Pa 9848, and one Honda company's red and black Dio scooter with number Ba 90 Pa 2517.

According to Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, spokesperson and Superintendent of Police at the District Police Complex Kathmandu, further investigation has been initiated after obtaining a 5-day remand permission from the Kathmandu District Court for the arrested individuals on the charge of scooter theft.
