Hezbollah Accuses Israel of Repeated Ceasefire Violations, Vows Defense

Kathmandu. Hezbollah has stated that Israel has repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement, that such activities are being continuously monitored, and that the right to defend Lebanon and its citizens is reserved.

In a statement released on Monday, Hezbollah claimed that Israeli airstrikes targeted residential buildings in the southern Nabatieh and Mefadoun areas, and a drone attack was carried out in the village of Fron.

According to the statement, the Israeli army is also accused of demolishing residential buildings in the Taybeh, Haddatha, and Majdaloun areas, dropping stun grenades near civilians in Burj Qalawiya and Baraachit, and leaving suspicious objects in the villages of Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Kafr Tebnet.

According to Lebanon's official National News Agency, Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes in the Nabatieh and Mefadoun areas on Sunday. It was also reported that the Israeli army detonated a tunnel in the Majdaloun area and fired heavy machine guns in the border city of Khiam.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, two civilians were injured in the Burj Qalawiya area by Israeli stun grenades.

Meanwhile, Lebanon and Israel signed an agreement in Washington on June 26 under US mediation after the fifth round of direct talks between the two sides.
