CPN Leader Prachanda Extends National Paddy Day Greetings, Highlights Farmer Issues

Kathmandu. Nepali Communist Party CPN Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has extended best wishes on the occasion of National Paddy Day and Plantation Day 2083, drawing the government's attention to the problems of farmers. 

Stating that agriculture is the main backbone of the Nepali economy, he said that the foundation of the nation's food security and prosperity is made possible by the tireless hard work, sweat, and dedication of the working farmers. 

However, Coordinator Prachanda expressed dissatisfaction, stating that even during this main planting season, farmers are not able to easily obtain fertilizer, seeds, irrigation, and necessary agricultural materials. He seriously drew the government's attention to show special seriousness in building a self-reliant economy by increasing agricultural production through farmer-friendly policies and programs. 

Prachanda expressed confidence that this special day will awaken new resolve for respect towards agriculture and farmers and for increased production. He also extended heartfelt best wishes for happiness, prosperity, and successful farming to all the farmers of the country.
