Jumla Local Levels Present Budgets for Fiscal Year 2083/84

Jumla. All eight local levels of Jumla have presented their policies and programs and budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84. The one municipality and seven rural municipalities in the district simultaneously presented their budgets on Wednesday.

Chandannath Municipality here has presented a budget of Rs 59 crore 46 lakh 71 thousand. Tatopani Rural Municipality has brought a budget of Rs 54 crore 28 lakh eight thousand, Patarasi Rural Municipality Rs 45 crore 46 lakh six thousand, and Tila Rural Municipality Rs 50 crore 51 lakh 71 thousand.

Similarly, Hima Rural Municipality has brought a budget of Rs 43 crore 79 lakh 66 thousand, Sinja Rural Municipality Rs 45 crore 48 lakh 18 thousand, and Kanakasundari Rural Municipality Rs 45 crore 12 lakh 77 thousand. Guthichaur Rural Municipality had brought policies and programs along with a budget of Rs 38 crore 36 lakh 83 thousand on Ashad 9.

Tila Rural Municipality Vice-chair Gorikala Budha presented the budget, informed that institutional strengthening and good governance, sustainable infrastructure and urban development, art, culture, heritage conservation and promotion, accessible basic health services and protection of city dwellers' lives, and employment-oriented and quality basic education have been prioritized.
