9 Years Needed for Paved Roads to All Ward Offices

Kathmandu. It will take another 9 years for paved roads to reach all ward offices across the country. Minister of Physical Infrastructure Sunil Lamsal said that a 3-3-3 plan has been brought for this. 

According to him, tracks will be opened in places where there is no track at all within 3 years. Places where tracks are currently open will be gravelled during this period, while places that are currently gravelled will be paved. Accordingly, he said that paved roads will be completed in places where there is no track at all within the next 9 years.

He also informed that the road used by a large population has been given first priority among these.
