House Session Adjourned for 15 Minutes Due to Minister Absence

Kathmandu. The House of Representatives meeting has been adjourned for 15 minutes. The meeting was adjourned after the ministers of the concerned ministries were not present in the ministry-wise discussion of the budget. 

There was an agenda for discussion of 9 ministries today. However, Speaker DP Aryal adjourned the meeting after the MPs participating in the discussion insisted that all ministers must be present. 

MP Rajendra Rai had reached the rostrum to participate in the discussion. However, the House of Representatives meeting was stopped after he stated that he would not speak unless all ministers were present. 

Earlier, when Rai was speaking, he had insisted on not speaking as the Finance Minister was not present. For that reason, the meeting was adjourned at that time as well. 

Now, as per Rai's demand, the meeting has been adjourned for the second time.
