MP Yubaraj Dulal Claims Some Ministries Manipulated Budget

Kathmandu. Nepali Communist Party (NCP) MP Yubaraj Dulal has stated that some ministries have been adjusting the budget. He mentioned that there are rumors of ministries adjusting the budget without publishing the program booklet.

Speaking in the House of Representatives meeting on Monday, he questioned why the budget booklet has not been made public even 18 days after the budget was presented by a digital technology-friendly government.

'I thought a technology-friendly government would publish a digital copy of the program booklet the very next day after the budget was presented. However, some ministries have not published it yet. The booklet of the ministry to be discussed today was not available until yesterday,' he said. 'Will they say in the future that it was manipulated yesterday, and I also did it?'

Currently, the annual program booklet (Red Book) has been published for only some of the 18 ministries.
