Two arrested with narcotics

Kathmandu –Police have arrested two persons with banned drugs from Shankharapur Municipality-9 in Kathmandu on Wednesday night.

 
The arrestees are Anish Shrestha, 19, of Gokarneshwor Municipality and Krishna Khanal, 21, of Shankharapur Municipality-1, currently living at Shankharapur-9 in a rented room. 

A joint team from the Metropolitan Police Sector, Sankhu, and Jammudanda Police Beat arrested them acting on a tip-off. 
Police Inspector Laxmi Khanal said police seized different types of narcotics including 153 ampoules of diazepam, 27 ampoules of nofin and 120 ampoules of brufen from their rented room. An investigation into the case was underway, added police.
