Urlabari – in separate incidents in Kanepokhari rural municipality on Sunday.
Six-year-old Resham Darji, the son of Shyam Darji, died after being swept away from the Chisang river in ward no. 7 of the
municipality. Shyam who had gone missing from home in the morning was found dead in the evening, with his body stuck after being drowned in the river, according to Police Inspector at the Area Police Office, Pathari Kamal Bajgain.
In another similar incident, two-year-old Abhi Rai, the son of Bishal Rai died after accidently falling into a fish pond of the family in ward no. 3 of the rural municipality, police said.
