Dhangadhi Dairy Distribution Project Collects Rs 6 Crore Revenue in 10 Months

Kailali. The Dhangadhi Dairy Distribution Project under the Dairy Development Corporation located at Kanari, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-15, has collected revenue of Rs 6 crore in the first 10 months of the current fiscal year.

The project, which collects milk from various cooperatives and firms in Dadeldhura, Kailali, and Kanchanpur of Sudurpaschim Province, has earned this amount by processing the collected milk and selling products like paneer and ice cream in the local market, informed Project Chief Nirajan Bhattarai.

Dairy products produced by the project are being sold in Dhangadhi, Attariya, Dadeldhura, Dipayal, and Tikapur markets. The project, which currently collects 3,500 liters of milk daily, operates its own collection centers in Belauri of Kanchanpur, Gulra of Lamki in Kailali, and Basanta in Tikapur.
