Bagmati Literature Festival Concludes With 13-Point Declaration

Chitwan. The second edition of the Bagmati Literature Festival, which began last Saturday, has concluded by issuing a 13-point declaration. The festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Bagmati Province Government and coordinated by the Pragya Pratishthan of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, was attended by litterateurs from 13 districts of the province.

The festival has emphasized the need to create projects for partnership and collaboration to connect creations such as poetry, novels, and drama with the economy. The declaration also mentions the continuation of efforts in the coming days for the preservation, research, and promotion of language and literature, music, drama and fine arts, and culture.

It has been demanded that such festivals be included in the annual policy and programs by the federal, provincial, district, and local governments and active academic institutions to ensure their continuity.
