Jajarkot – Two persons died in Dolpa district when a rivulet swept them away on Saturday.
Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) Abadesh Bista at the District Police Office, Dolpa shared that Namgyal Lama, 63, of Se-Foksundo rural municipality-4, Namde and a youth (yet to be identified) of Chharka Tanssong rural municipality died while returning to home from Haat Bazaar.
The Haat Bazaar takes place at Kyato and Marimla once a year. This year the event was conducted from August 10-26.
Haat is an open air market that serves a trading venue for local people in rural areas of Nepal. ---
