Army Chief National Open Tennis Tournament 2083 Concludes

Kathmandu. The fourth edition of the 'Chief of Army Staff National Open Tennis Tournament-2083', organized by the Nepali Army with the technical support of the Nepal Tennis Association, has concluded. The tournament was formally concluded on Tuesday under the chief hospitality of Chief of Army Staff Ashok Raj Sigdel.

At a special closing ceremony organized at Jangi Adda, Chief of Army Staff Sigdel presented the trophy to Tribhuvan Army Club, the overall champion of the tournament. Similarly, the winner in the men's singles, Pradip Khadka, and the winner in the women's singles, Sivalee Gurung, were also presented with trophies and certificates on the same occasion. Other players who performed excellently in various 13 categories of the tournament were also awarded prizes at the closing ceremony.

The games of this tournament, which started on Jestha 4, were conducted at Jangi Adda and the tennis court at Dasharath Stadium. In this edition, 218 players from 12 different clubs competed for the title.
