During the telephone conversation, the statement said, they focused on supporting diplomatic efforts led by Pakistan to prevent further tension in the region and maintain international peace and security.

They emphasized the importance of maintaining dialogue channels to address current issues, secure maritime security and strategic waterways, and ensure the smooth flow of global energy supply and supply chains.

The Emir reiterated Qatar's continued stance in support of peaceful solutions and diplomatic initiatives aimed at controlling the crisis and enhancing regional stability.

This phone call comes amid ongoing regional tension around the 'Strait of Hormuz' and growing international concern about the potential impact on global energy markets and maritime trade routes.
