10 Dead in Road Accident in Lakhimpur Kheri, India

Lakhimpur Kheri. 10 people have died in a road accident that occurred on Monday morning in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, India. 

The accident happened when a speeding truck directly hit a magic car coming from the front. 

A total of 10 people, including two women, were traveling in the magic car. Local police have stated that all those involved in the accident lost their lives. 

The collision was so severe that the magic car was dragged 10 feet away before stopping. The people inside the car sustained serious injuries to their heads and faces, while some passengers were trapped between the seats. 

Due to the force of the collision, two passengers were thrown onto the road. Immediately after the accident, local residents in the vicinity reached the scene, informed the police, and began rescue operations. 

Upon reaching the scene, the police found one passenger alive and immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital. However, he also died during treatment. 

According to eyewitnesses, the magic car was going from Lakhimpur to Sisaiya when a truck coming from Bahraich hit it head-on. The speeding truck suddenly lost control and crashed into the magic car. The truck driver fled the scene immediately after the accident. 

This accident occurred near Adlispur village on the Pilibhit-Basti highway, 40 kilometers away from the district headquarters. CO Khamaria, Shamsher Bahadur Singh, informed that the police have taken the truck into their custody and are searching for the absconding driver. 

Meanwhile, Dr. Amit Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Community Health Center (CHC) Khamaria, stated that two women and seven men's bodies were brought to the hospital after the accident. According to him, most of the bodies were badly crushed. Dr. Singh informed that one seriously injured man was referred to the district hospital for further treatment, but he died on the way. 

The police have taken all the bodies into their custody and sent them for post-mortem.
