Gagan Thapa Ready to Do Anything Within Party Constitution to Unify Nepali Congress

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa has said that he is ready to do anything within the scope of the constitution to unite the party.

Speaking at an interaction organized by the Democratic Thought Society in Kathmandu on Sunday, President Thapa said that he is ready to do whatever it takes to make the 15th General Convention fair and impartial.

'Those elected from the 14th General Convention are outside. I want to bring them into the central committee and keep them with respect,' said President Thapa, 'I am ready to decide who to place where to make the committee formed on the subject of the General Convention fair. I will do it within the scope of the constitution. This is my public commitment.'

President Thapa said that the party's decisions will not be based on whether one came to the special general convention or not. 'When making decisions, contribution to the party will be considered. All party members will be viewed with equal vision,' said President Thapa.

He also said that he has joined hands and said that he is ready to do anything to meet the senior leaders at their homes and reconcile them.
