At Least 4 Dead in Drone Attacks Across Russia

Moscow. At least 4 people have died in various regions of Russia due to Ukraine's drone attacks. Officials have stated that 3 of them died in the Moscow region, while 1 died in the Belgorod region. This attack has been called the biggest drone attack on Russia in the last one year.

According to Moscow region governor Andrei Vorobyov, one woman died when a drone fell on a house in the Khimki region. He also stated that two men died in the village of Pogorelki in the Mytishchi district. Many residential buildings and infrastructure have been damaged, and rescue teams are continuing their search in the debris.

According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, 81 drones were destroyed coming towards Moscow from night until now. He stated that this was the biggest attack on the capital in the last one year. According to him, about 12 people were injured. Most of them were injured near Moscow's oil refinery. However, it has been claimed that the technical structure of the refinery was not damaged.

Russia's Defense Ministry stated that a total of 556 drones were shot down throughout the night and morning. This attack spread across many regions. Sheremetyevo Airport, Moscow's main airport, also stated that drone fragments fell within its territory but caused no damage.
