Russian President Putin's China Visit Preparation Nears Completion

Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin's upcoming China visit preparation is almost complete and an official date is expected to be announced soon, Russian news agency TASS reported, citing the Kremlin. Speaking in an interview with journalists, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said the visit preparation is in the final stage.

Stating that the date of the visit will be announced soon, Peskov mentioned that the preparation for the visit is underway and its finalization is being done. According to Russian news agency TASS, in-depth discussions have been held regarding Putin's upcoming China visit.

However, the Kremlin has not disclosed further details about Putin's visit plan and agenda. Earlier, on May 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin had presented situational information on the Ukraine conflict to India, China, and the United States. In this, he had paved the way for a three-day ceasefire with Kyiv in commemoration of World War II.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he wants to see the Strait of Hormuz open for China. In an interview with Fox News, Trump said that President Xi wants to see a deal and is willing to help if needed.

Trump has also reportedly invited President Xi to visit the White House on September 24. Trump highlighted that the recent opportunity and agreement are very special for the prosperity and lasting relationship between the American and Chinese people.

On Thursday, Xi hosted a state banquet in honor of US President Donald Trump and proposed that they can move forward together in a coordinated manner through reconciliation.

During the dinner in Beijing, Xi described the relationship between the world's two largest economies as the most important bilateral relationship of the modern era and warned that both nations should never disrupt it.

Remembering the people of China and the United States, Xi said that both countries can help each other succeed and advance the welfare of the entire world.
