Before the high-level summit between Trump and Xi, trade representatives of the US and China held 'constructive' talks, Chinese state media reported.

According to news agency CCTV, in the discussions held in South Korea on Wednesday, both sides exchanged 'clear, deep, and constructive' views on economic and trade issues. However, the detailed subjects of the discussion have not been made public.
