Nepali Congress MP Calls for PM's Summon to Parliament

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress MP Niskal Rai has demanded the Prime Minister be summoned to the House through a ruling. Speaking in Wednesday's meeting of the House of Representatives, MP Rai questioned the Speaker, asking why the Prime Minister, who left the House during the President's policy and program reading, was not seen in the House on Tuesday and Wednesday.

He stated that it was shameful for the Prime Minister not to appear in the House on the day the agenda was to answer questions raised on the policy and program he himself had prepared. 'Mr. Speaker! It is your job to uphold the honor of this House. If you cannot uphold the honor and dignity, no one can,' said MP Rai. 'You are the protagonist of this House. Therefore, summon the Prime Minister through a ruling and enhance the dignity of the House.'
