Government to Control Under-invoicing at Customs Points

Kathmandu. The government is going to control under-invoicing at customs points. President Ramchandra Paudel gave this information while presenting the government's policy and program.

‘Under-invoicing at customs points will be controlled,’ said President Paudel, ‘The system of all taxes including value addition will be automated.’

The illegal act of submitting fake bills at customs by showing a much lower price than the actual purchase price of goods to be imported or exported is considered illegal. In simple terms, under-invoicing is the act of showing a bill of only a small amount at customs even if a lot of money was paid when buying goods.
