Bagmati Province President Running Shield Competition Postponed

Makwanpur. The Bagmati Province level President Running Shield competition has been postponed. The provincial level President Running Shield competition organized by the Bagmati Province Sports Development Council has been postponed.

According to the pre-determined program of the council, it was supposed to be held from Jestha 1 to 3. The council has stated that the competition has been postponed due to the students' examinations. According to Deepak Lama, Member Secretary of the Council, preparations are being made to conduct the competition from Jestha 13 to 15.

He said that the date of the competition has been changed because it is difficult to conduct the competition on the previous date due to the annual examinations of the participating students. He urged all the players, coaches, and officials selected from the district to participate in the newly set date and to be in a state of readiness accordingly.

He said that the competition will be held in Makwanpur and Kathmandu. He has also instructed all 13 district sports development committees to send the details of the participating players, coaches, and officials to the council as soon as possible.
