NDA Leads in Assam Assembly Election Vote Count

Guwahati. In the initial trends of the vote counting for Assam's 126 assembly seats, the NDA alliance led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has taken a clear lead. 

While the counting is ongoing, the BJP had already put up victory posters at the party office in Guwahati the previous night, assuming its victory. These posters express heartfelt thanks to the people of Assam for unprecedented public support and blessings.

Party State Treasurer राजकुमार सरमा said that they had publicized the posters before the counting was completed as they were already confident of victory. Although there is not much activity at the BJP office right now, it is said that this is because the workers are deployed at various counting centers. 

The party has made preparations for a large crowd of supporters to gather at the office and celebrate a grand victory festival once the trends turn into formal results by afternoon.

A tough competition has been observed between two major alliances in this Assam election. On one side is the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by the BJP, and on the other side is the opposition alliance led by Congress in the electoral field. 

The alliance led by the BJP is aiming to return to power for the third consecutive time and achieve a hat-trick, while Congress is striving to regain power. However, the initial results indicate that the BJP's dominance in Assam will continue again.
