Iran's Ambassador States Pakistan's Mediation Efforts in US-Iran Conflict Ongoing

Kathmandu. Iran's Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, has stated that Pakistan's mediation efforts to end the US-Iran conflict are ongoing.

In an interview with Iran's official news agency IRNA, Ambassador Moghadam said, "Pakistan has been the main mediator in the current process of Iran's new negotiation plan to end the conflict with America. The Pakistani leadership has handed over the Iranian proposal to Washington, and its formal response has not yet been received."

"Tehran is transparent about its position and demands. It depends on the United States. If it sincerely seeks to resolve issues and achieve success in negotiations, it must change its behavior," said Ambassador Moghadam.

He said that all communities in the West Asia region and the world are waiting for the results of the talks, and Iran is committed to pursuing the path of diplomacy while providing the necessary measures for the defense of the country.

He said, "The United States must end its excessive and aggressive behavior and instead adopt an approach that respects Iran's rights."
