Tipper Truck Falls Off Cliff in Ramchhap, Driver Injured

Kathmandu. A tipper truck has met with an accident in Dahu, Sunapati Rural Municipality-4, Ramchhap. On Saturday, a soil-loaded tipper truck with registration number Province-3-01-003 Ka 7891 of Ashish Ashirwad Construction Company fell off a cliff into the gorge while unloading soil.

The driver of the tipper, Ramesh Magar, 28, a resident of Manpur, Sunapati Rural Municipality-2, has been injured. He has been sent to Kathmandu via army helicopter for treatment, the District Police Office, Ramchhap informed.

Ashish Ashirwad JV has been carrying out road construction work at that location. The injured driver, who met with the accident on the Lubhu-Bethan internal unpaved road, was first brought to Charity Medical Center in Bhaisa and then to Kathmandu. He sustained injuries to his head, right eye, and face. 

He is currently undergoing treatment after being admitted to KMC in Sinamangal, local Santosh Bhandari told Ratopati.
