Exit Polls Predict Mixed Results for Indian State Elections

West Bengal. With the second phase of voting in West Bengal, voting has been completed in four states and one union territory for the assembly elections. Voting was held in a single phase in Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry on April 9. Voting was also held in a single phase in Tamil Nadu on April 23.

A majority of 148 seats is required for the election held for a total of 294 members of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. According to P-Mark's exit poll, Trinamool has been given 118 to 138 seats, BJP 150 to 175, and others 2 to 6 seats.

According to Matrix's exit poll, Trinamool has been given 125–140, BJP 146–161, and others 6–10 seats. According to exit polls, Trinamool has been given 177–187, BJP 95–110, Congress 1–3, and Left 1 seat.

According to Chanakya Strategy's exit poll, Trinamool has been given 130–140, BJP 150–160, and others 6–10 seats. Voting was held in a single phase in Assam on April 9. The Assam Assembly has 126 seats, and the majority mark is 64.

Most exit polls show the BJP alliance in the lead. According to Axis My India's exit poll, the BJP alliance has taken 88 to 100 seats, while the Congress alliance is estimated to get 24–36 seats and others 0–3 seats.

In JVC's exit poll, the BJP alliance is estimated to get 88–101, the Congress alliance 23–33, and others 2–5 seats. In P-Mark's exit poll, the BJP alliance is estimated to get 82–94, the Congress alliance 30–40, and others 1–5 seats.

According to exit polls, the BJP alliance is estimated to get 85–95, the Congress alliance 25–32, and others 6–12 seats. According to People's Pulse exit poll, the BJP alliance is estimated to get 68–72, the Congress alliance 22–26, and others 11–15 seats.

Voting was held in a single phase on April 23 for the 234 seats of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. The majority number here is 118. In P-Mark's exit poll, the DMK alliance is estimated to get 125–145, AIADMK alliance 65–85, TVK 16–26, and others 1–6 seats.

In Matrix's exit poll, the DMK alliance is estimated to get 122–132, AIADMK-alliance 87–110, TVK 10–12, and others 0–6 seats. In People's Pulse exit poll, the DMK alliance is estimated to get 125–145, AIADMK 65–80, TVK 18–24, and others 2–6 seats.

According to Axis My India's exit poll, the DMK alliance has received 92–110 seats, while AIADMK has received 22–32 seats and TVK 98–120 seats.

During the recent assembly elections, voting was also held in Puducherry, a union territory, on April 9. A majority of 16 members is required to win in the 30-member Puducherry Assembly.
