Kamala Pant Appointed National Assembly Parliamentary Party Leader, Replacing Krishna Prasad Sitaula

Kathmandu. Krishna Prasad Sitaula has been removed from the post of National Assembly Parliamentary Party leader of the Nepali Congress. Bhishma Raj Angdembe, the leader of the House of Representatives Parliamentary Party, removed Sitaula and gave the responsibility to Kamala Pant on Wednesday.

Angdembe appointed Pant as the leader of the National Assembly Parliamentary Party in accordance with Article 12 (2) of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party's Constitution (including amendments and revisions, 2083).

Sitaula had opposed the special general convention. Pant was in favor of the special general convention.
