Nepal Seeks New Securities Board Chairman

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Finance, Government of Nepal, has invited applications to fill the vacant post of Chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal. The recommendation committee formed to recommend names for the appointment of the Board's Chairman published a notice today requesting eligible interested Nepali citizens to submit their personal details.

According to the notice, candidates for the post of Chairman must have at least a postgraduate degree from a recognized university and at least 7 years of professional experience in securities market management, capital market development, economic, financial, commercial, management, or legal fields.  

Interested candidates must submit their applications within 7 (seven) days from the date of publication of the notice. Along with the application, personal details, a copy of citizenship, certified documents of educational qualifications and experience, and a self-declaration form in the prescribed format must be attached.

The notice states that applications should be submitted to the committee's secretariat located in the 'Financial Sector Management and Public Enterprises Coordination Division' of the Ministry of Finance in Singh Durbar.
